Medika Organics
I've always been a little bit of a hippie at heart. I've always loved essential oils, plants, nature and natural remedies.
Soap making started for me as a curiosity many years ago — experimenting with oils, botanicals and scents at home. Over time it slowly grew into Medika Organics. After learning and refining the traditional cold-process soap making method, I officially started the business in 2022.
What excites me most is the sensory side of creating. I blend all of my essential oil combinations myself, and that part never gets old for me. Every essential oil has its own distinct scent, character and feel, and when they come together they create something completely unique.
Medika Organics is built around a simple philosophy: beautiful products don’t need complicated formulas. I’m drawn to simple, honest ingredients, thoughtful formulation, and products that feel grounding and calming to use in everyday life.
All of my products are handmade from scratch, by me, in small batches in my home studio here in Moreton Bay, with a focus on truly-natural ingredients, beautiful essential oil blends, and creating products that turn everyday routines into small sensory rituals.
What makes my products special
My soaps are made using the traditional cold-process method with carefully chosen oils, butters, clays, botanicals and pure essential oils.
Alongside my soaps, I also create a range of natural body and haircare products using the same philosophy of simple ingredients, mindful formulation and unique essential oil blends.
I’m especially drawn to creating products that bring a sensory element into everyday routines. I also care deeply about low-waste practices. I work in small batches to reduce excess, use minimal packaging, and focus on natural ingredients rather than unnecessary additives or synthetic fragrances.
One thing I’d love customers to know is that every product is made completely from scratch by me, from developing the original formula right through to the final essential oil blend and finishing details. The scent design is one of the most personal and creative parts of the process, and it's what makes Medika Organics feel so special to me.
