Stranger Things
2D & 3D artworks from artists across Australia
This group exhibition showcases artworks made from non-traditional art materials.
Mezzanine Gallery
5-27 September 2926
Wed to Sun, 9.00am-2.00pm

Strange: adjective. Unusual and unexpected, or difficult to understand; not known or familiar.
This exhibition celebrates the non-conforming artists.
The ones who feel that maybe their art is strange, compared to what is normally considered "art". The ones who take the ordinary, and make it extraordinary. The ones who repurpose, recycle, upcycle, deconstruct, deform and reform... and make art from things that don't traditionally belong in the same sentence as art.
We're excited (and amazed) at some of the materials used in these artworks, from artists across Australia. As you wander this exhibition, take a close look and see if you can determine where those materials have come from.
Thank you to Megan Leahy for our hero artwork "The Last Leviathan"
