Our Group Exhibitions bring together artists and artisans around a shared theme — offering a vibrant, varied display of perspectives, techniques, and materials.

There are 2 ways to participate

  • Standard Entry – Submit up to two artworks (1 for $45 / 2 for $70).

  • Feature Artist – Submit 6–10 artworks (depending on size) for $300, and receive:

    • Additional social media coverage

    • An A4 artist statement displayed alongside your collection

    • Your works presented together as a cohesive mini-exhibition within the group show

Note: The amount of time Feature Artists will have to complete artworks prior to the opening of the exhibition (if needed) is dependent on when their application is received. We encourage you to apply as soon as possible for the exhibitions you wish to feature in.

Eligible Artists and Artworks

  • We encourage submissions from all artists - whether you are a professional or you've never exhibited your art before. Artworks need to be original, and you need to have created them.

  • We also welcome artworks from all over Australia and beyond.

  • We accept both 2D and 3D artworks in all our exhibitions.

  • While generally our artists are adults, we welcome artworks from youth artists (with parental permission)

  • All artworks must be clean, finished, and in saleable condition

Group exhibitions are an ideal way to showcase your work among peers, connect with new audiences, and be part of a creative event that draws visitors from across the region.

Group Exhibition Themes for 2026

The Fish John West Rejected

Mezzanine Gallery: 17 January - 1 February 2026

Was your artwork rejected from an exhibition, art prize or juried competition in 2025?

If so, we want to see it - and we want to show it!

How Long is a Piece of String?

Mezzanine Gallery: 7 - 29 March 2026

In this exhibition we're all about textiles... stitching, weaving, fabric, felting, embroidery, and mixed media that includes textiles.

As long as threads (or string) is involved, we want to showcase it! Oh, and a piece of string is twice as long as half it's length.

Cut & Paste

Mezzanine Gallery: 9 - 31 May 2026

Collage (derived from the French term “collér” - to glue) is a form of visual art created by assembling different materials and attaching them to a surface to form a new image or composition.

To celebrate World Collage Day 2026, we're welcoming the incredible genre of collage across a variety of sub-genres and subject matter.

Stranger Things

Mezzanine Gallery: 5 - 27 September 2026

The only mystery about this exhibition is what the artworks are made from!

We're looking for art that is made from strange/unusual/non-traditional materials. Upcycled, recycled, repurposed, reconstructed, and unapologetically "weird" is what will set our hearts racing. And the harder it is to guess what it's made from, the better.

Things of Stone & Wood

Mezzanine Gallery: 5 - 20 December 2026

This exhibition showcases artworks predominately featuring stone and/or wood.

We're told that many group exhibition themes aren't well suited to these materials, so we figured it was time to give them an exhibition of their own!

Tiny Things

The Little Room: 7 February - 1 March 2026

Celebrating those artists who like to work small!

This exhibition is all about the intricate, ornate, detailed, miniatures. Any medium or technique - it's just got to be smaller than normal. In fact, the smaller and more detailed, the better!

Inked Up

Mezzanine Gallery: 11 - 26 April 2026

Printmaking covers a wide variety of media and techniques, styles, and tools used.

The one thing they have in common is "ink". So ink up those plates, and let's showcase what you've got!

Food Glorious Food

Mezzanine Gallery: 18 July - 9 August 2026

Please sir, can I have some more?

Yes, we'd love more! Food in all it's glory.

Show us your artwork inspired by one of the basic human needs. Any style, any medium... just make it tasty!

Naturally Abstract

Mezzanine Gallery: 10 October - 1 November 2026

Abstraction is real, probably more real than nature”- Josef Albers

So what if we combine abstract artworks with nature as the subject matter? Let's bring both realities together in the one place!

Ready to have a solo exhibition?

Or perhaps inviting a small group of fellow artists to hold an exhibition together...
