Artist Callout
Group Exhibition
Things of Stone & Wood
"It's as hard as stone to see the wood for the trees..."
(or something like that!)
This exhibition is especially for those who work with the beautiful materials of stone and/or wood. We're told that there aren't that many exhibitions where these artworks "fit", and so we decided they deserve an exhibition of their own.
We're looking for artworks that inspire; that encourage us to see with new eyes the beauty that the simple elements of wood and stone can be.
And while the entire artwork may contain other materials, the predominant feature or focal point will be either stone and/or wood.
Exhibition Dates
5 - 20 December 2026, with official opening event on Friday evening 5 December 2026.
Eligible Artwork
2D & 3D artworks in finished, clean and saleable condition.
Artists are encouraged to apply with artworks that haven't been widely exhibited previously.
Hanging artwork must be securely framed, with D Rings screwed into the back and with hanging wire attached.
If artworks require a special stand or device to hold them, that will need to be provided by the artist.
If artworks need to be displayed a certain way, please provide a photograph with your artwork to help us during bump in.
