Wendi Trulson, founder of Ecowott Nature's Imprint lives in Beechmont on the edge of the Scenic Rim. Wendi is a textile artist dedicated to capturing the essence of nature in her work. Specializing in naturally dyed fabrics, she draws inspiration from the beauty of the Australian landscape, with a particular focus on eucalyptus leaves. Her unique artistic approach results in crisp, detailed leaf prints on fabric& paper, each can be enhanced by hand stitching, which adds depth and a tactile exploration of natural forms.

Wendi’s pieces are a testament to sustainable fashion and art, blending her love of nature with her passion for craftsmanship. Each creation reflects a harmonious connection between the organic world and textile design, making her work not only visually striking but also environmentally mindful.

What makes my products special

Everything Wendi produces has relationship that is from plant colour, using natural materials and traditional techniques. She creates unique textile and paper works that celebrate the beauty and unpredictability of nature.

This rings true to every piece, being natural in fibre content & colour, sustainable and earth friendly
