Artisan Maker/Merchant

We are interested in inspiring creatives who have a community focus and are ready to be actively involved in showcasing and growing their art and its practice in a shared space.
Within our beautiful building we offer our store, shared functional maker spaces alongside dedicated exhibition, art project and workshop space.
The Churn Room offers four main spaces.
The Ground Floor - oozing character from yesteryear, will offer a flexible showroom and store front for artisan merchants and host two permanent working artisans.
The Mezzanine - flooded with natural light from the beautiful historic roof skylights, will host two permanent artisans/artists in residence, a desk space available for casual short term hire, and a flexible and dedicated workshop area, along with extra store space for artisan goods.

The Back Room - expansive open plan flexible space dedicated to self managed exhibitions, short term working art project space, artisan workshop, regular life drawing sessions, or artists meeting space. Read more

The Little Room - an intimate art project or small works exhibition room, that once was the Butter Factory cold room.
We are always ready to welcome expressions of interest for:
* Retail artisan merchant space in the store
* Artisan/makers for the permanent and casual short term working artisan spaces - Limited positions
* Artisan teachers to join our hosted workshop program.
* Stallholders for our Artisans Markets
