Artworks that include, depict or are created from a piece of string (or yarn or thread)
Mezzanine Gallery

Wed to Sun, 9.00am-2.00pm

The age old question: How Long is a Piece of String?
And it got us wondering: if an artwork contained a piece of string, how long would it be?
While this theme is perfect for textile art, we also wanted to include a variety of mediums and techniques. And this exhibition does exactly that!
Textile art, painting, printmaking, scuptural forms... we're thrilled to bring you artworks that indeed include, depict or are made from a piece of string (or yarn, or thread).
And to answer that age old question; a piece of string is twice as long as half it's length!
