Unseen

adj. not seen or not able to be seen; not broadcast, published, or shown to the public before now.


Things held beneath the surface. Hidden from view. Not noticed or perhaps invisible. 


This group exhibition is open exclusively to artists within the Moreton Bay region who aren't already participating in the Samford + Hinterland Arts Trail. 


We're seeking 2D & 3D artworks that have not been exhibited previously; to reveal the unseen.

No restrictions on medium or technique, though preference will be given to artworks where the content also relates to the theme "unseen".

Exhibition Dates

6 - 28 June 2026, with official opening event on Friday evening 5 June 2026.

Eligible Artwork

2D & 3D artworks in finished, clean and saleable condition.

  • Artworks must not have been exhibited previously.

  • Artworks with content that also relate to the theme of "Unseen" will be given preference.

  • Artists must reside in the City of Moreton Bay region.

  • Hanging artwork must be securely framed, with D Rings screwed into the back and with hanging wire attached.

  • If artworks require a special stand or device to hold them, that will need to be provided by the artist.

  • If artworks need to be displayed a certain way, please provide a photograph with your artwork to help us during bump in.

Commission on Artwork Sales

30% (sales are processed by The Churn Room)

Entry Fee

Standard Entry: $45 per single artwork, or 2 for $70

(Submit up to 2 artworks. Additional artwork submissions beyond the first 2 will be disregarded. Please submit each artwork entry separately).


Featured Artist is not available for this exhibition

Online Catalogue

Artworks will be available to purchase in person during the exhibition and online shortly after the exhibition opens. The online catalogue will remain available for one month after the exhibition.

All exhibition artwork sold during this period—regardless of where or how the sale occurs—is subject to the standard sales commission payable to The Churn Room.
