Make time to take a wander through our little township, shop in the stores and cafe's, take a treasure home from the Antique and rare book shop; have an ice-cream or two; buy a book in the book store; load up with homemade goods, deli cheese and meats, local flowers or a take home meal from the local providore; visit the historic Hay Cottage for local handcrafts; read the history of town on the story markers our Council has provided to celebrate our long history; did you spot the country western themed Barber shops, one for the men, another for the ladies? What little town is complete without a bakery, butchery and traditional wide verandah country pub under the huge Moreton bay fig trees and green spaces for picnics.

Monthly Sunday market - 1st Sunday of the month.

Dayboro

Dayboro is a rural town in the Moreton Bay Region of Queensland, Australia, and is approximately 45 kilometres north-northwest of Brisbane. Only an hour’s drive from the Brisbane CBD or Sunshine Coast, Dayboro is a favourite destination for lovers of arts and culture, car and motorcycle clubs, weekend country drives, and adventurers. This quaint village might be small in size but it’s big in character.

How to get there

There are three main ways to arrive in Dayboro.

From the South or Brisbane CBD, the approach through Samford to Dayboro is a popular weekend drive with the Samford Village also offering a host of things to see and do.  Dayboro is only a 20min drive from Samford.  If coming from the Eatons Hill Hotel, travel down Eatons Crossing Road and turn right towards Dayboro. Dayboro is only a 25min drive from the Eatons Hill Hotel.

Coming from the Sunshine Coast, you have the option to travel towards Woodford, then turn left to take the drive through Mount Mee, and on to Dayboro.  This route is very popular with Car and Motorcycle Clubs as the picturesque drive winds its way through the hills and dairy cattle farms.

From the Northside of Brisbane, the trip to Dayboro takes you only 15 min from Petrie, past the Old Petrie Town Historic Village, Lake Kurwongbah, North Pine Dam, and on to Dayboro.

We hope to see you soon.....
