Create a one-of-a-kind character doll filled with personality, charm and story over this 2-day workshop.
Saturday 5 & Sunday 6 September
9:30am-3:30pm both days
Using wire, polymer clay and mixed media techniques, you’ll bring an imaginative character to life, exploring who they are, where they’ve been and the tales they might tell.
From whimsical wanderers and curious collectors to magical beings and mysterious travellers, each doll will emerge with its own unique character and narrative. You’ll learn how to construct a simple armature, sculpt expressive features, and add details that help tell your character’s story.
Participants will need to bring:
Fabric and trinkets to dress and decorate your doll
Your lunch each day (or consider having lunch at one of the local cafes nearby).
Suitable for beginners and experienced makers alike, this playful and inspiring workshop encourages creativity, experimentation and storytelling.
Whether your creation is quirky, enchanting or delightfully unexpected, you’ll leave with a unique handmade doll and a story waiting to unfold.
All other materials provided.
