The Little Room
The Little Room is our newest offering for exhibition and art project space available to hire for the artisan community of Dayboro, Moreton Bay and surrounds and is located a short north-west, hop, skip and jump from Brisbane. It is best described as an intimate and thought inducing space for independent art exhibitions or small format studio space for artist residencies.
The space was once the butter factory cold room, insulated with cork and rendered concrete that has the effect of subduing sounds and inducing quiet reflection. It's recycled roofing iron ceiling adds rustic ambience, with the practical addition of a modern 2 dimensional work hanging system and 3 dimensional display areas, to allow for flexibility to suit your purpose. Display lighting as well as delightful ambient lights add function and atmosphere to this unique artist space.
The total available floor area is approximately 16 square metres
We are currently seeking applications and Expressions of Interest as we develop our arts programme to close out 2023 and beyond.
Exhibition and Space Hire is available from $240/week. Commission on sales from 35% on a case by case basis .
Exhibition hire includes one late night opening.
A $150 non-refundable deposit will be required at the time of booking. A refundable bond may also apply.
Toilet facilities are onsite.
